Salvation

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16

The first step in becoming a follower of Christ is to accept His free gift of Salvation!   Salvation = Eternal Life in Christ. Please take the time and read through the images above or the text below. It is our hope you will be introduced to Jesus Christ today and make Him your Lord and Savior.
HOW TO BECOME A FOLLOWER OF CHRIST

Step One - You must realize you are a sinner.
"For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God." Romans 3:23, "If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us." I John 1:10

Step Two - You must realize you can't save yourself.
"Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God." John 3:3, "Not by works of righteousness which we have done, hut according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost." Titus 3:5

Step Three - You must realize that Jesus Christ came into the world and gave His life to save sinners.
"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16, "This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners: of whom I am chief." I Timothy 1:15

Step Four - You must repent: be sorry for your sins and turn from them.
"Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost." Acts 2:38, "He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: hut whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy." Pro 28:13

Step Five - You must confess (tell) your sins to God who alone has power to save and to cleanse from sin through the blood of Jesus.
"I acknowledged my sin unto thee, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the LORD; and thou forgavest the iniquity of my sin." Psalm 32:5, If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." I John 1:9

Step Six - You must call upon Jesus Christ in sincere and earnest prayer.
"And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name that will I do that the Father may be glorified in the Son." John 14:13, "And call upon me in the day of trouble I will deliver thee and thou shalt glorify me" Psalm 50:15

Step Seven - You must believe and by faith receive Jesus so He can control your life.
"Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them." Mark 11:24, "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name." John 1:12

Open your heart now and receive Jesus Christ as your Savior! You can do this by praying the following prayer:

Father, I know that I have broken your laws and my sins have separated me from you. I am truly sorry, and now I want to turn away from my past sinful life toward you. Please forgive me, and help me avoid sinning again. I believe that your son, Jesus Christ died for my sins, was resurrected from the dead, is alive, and hears my prayer. I invite Jesus to become the Lord of my life, to rule and reign in my heart from this day forward. Please send your Holy Spirit to help me obey You, and to do Your will for the rest of my life. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.”

You are now a child of God, cleansed by the blood, and adopted into His family. If you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Savior, please write us and let us know. We can provide you a Bible and help you begin your Christian journey!

A WAY TO TELL OTHERS ABOUT JESUS CHRIST

   THE ROMANS ROAD

What is the Romans Road? Simply put, the Romans Road shows the path to Heaven. It uses point from the book of Romans in the Bible to explain God’s free gift of salvation. At each stop we learn something new about why we need salvation, how God has provided for it, and how we receive it.

As you look at each of the six points outlined here, take time to reflect on what God’s Word has to say each of them. Remember that the book of Romans was written to people just like you and me: people living in a busy culture, trying to make sense of what is true and what is most important in life.

The Romans Road describes the only way to Heaven. Study it! Learn it! Follow it!

1.  EVERYONE NEEDS SALVATION“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.”   Romans 3:23

2.  JESUS DIED FOR OUR SALVATION“But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”   Romans 5:8

3.  SALVATION IS A GIFT“The wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”  Romans 6:23

4.  WE ARE SAVED BY GRACE“And if by grace, then is it no more of works; otherwise grace is no more grace.”  Romans 11:6

5.  SALVATION COMES THROUGH FAITH“To him that…believeth on Him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.”  Romans 4:5

6.  GOD SAVES ALL WHO CALL UPON HIM“Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”  Romans 10:13

The Bible says there are two roads in life: one is the way to eternal joy in Heaven, at the other leads to eternal punishment in Hell. Which road are you on? Follow the Romans Road to salvation today. Recognize that you are a sinner and that your sin must be judged by God. See that Jesus died to pay the penalty for your sin, but that you must choose to accept His provision. Understand that you cannot earn your way to Heaven through good works or religious activity. Now turn to God and put your faith in Jesus Christ who died for you and rose again.

“If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” Romans 10:9-10
